Barack Obama has appointed Tom Vilsack to head the Agricultural Department and Ken Salazar heading the Interior Department. Upon appointing Vilsack Obama again made clear his support of ethanol. Vilsack is not only in favor of ethanol but also bio-enginerd crops. Salazar on the other hand is a friend to the coal mining industry, he has also worked at keep many animals off the endangered species list.
